A Nigerian individual has presented the rationale behind the necessity of not conducting a second burial for the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, in Ikorodu.
In a video message, he passionately discouraged the idea of burying Mohbad in Ikorodu once the autopsy is completed.
He urged Mohbad’s fans to unite and contribute funds for a more fitting burial site.
This cautionary message arises in response to the prior exhumation of Mohbad’s remains, raising concerns about the dignity and reverence accorded during the burial proceedings.
He said; “Look here, don’t bring back Mohbad’s body to Ikorodu. He doesn’t deserve to be buried in that kind of place. If it’s for fans to contribute N500 each to afford his body being buried at Ikoyi Cemetery, it’s not too much. And for the government, since you exhumed him, we’ve not heard anything. We won’t rest until we get Justice.”
